SYNOPSIS:  Twin sisters Poubelle and Angelique are bonded in both biology and shared tragedy after a car accident leaves them orphaned along a prairie highway in a pool of blood. But the young twins are brought home with Dr Glass after their remarkable recovery, and quickly find themselves the subject of endless experiments. In a quest to study Poubelle and Angelique’s undeniable bond, Dr Glass’ questionable practices are soon scrutinized by a young doctor who might be the twins’ only hope for a normal life.

Casting the Following Roles:

Poubelle        (17) female. Fraternal twin to Angelique. Shares a deep connection with her sister. Movement skills an asset. Ability to speak French an asset.

Angelique      (17) female. Fraternal twin to Poubelle. Shares a deep connection with her sister. Movement skills an asset. Ability to speak French an asset.

Dr Glass        (40s-60s), female. A scientist/doctor, damaged by life. Driven by her need to answer the unanswerable. Glass is a defender of scientific rationalism and her ethically questionable experimentation.

Max Street    (late-20s, early 30s), female. A recent graduate from the University of Toronto’s medical school. Wrote her thesis on the comparison between plant and human biology. Slightly awkward.
